The Hotel Arlberg is a firm favourite as it's located right at the bottom of the high street and convenient for both the Nassarein and Galzig pistes. The staff are friendly, the food is good, and the wine list is large – need we say more?
It's usually possible to ski back to within 50m of the hotel which adds an extra shot of convenience to your stay. There's a lounge with cosy hotel bar and an à la carte restaurant to refuel at the end of the day.
An alternative to the legendary nightlife of St Anton is to stay in and use the hotel's wellness area. Spend an evening in the indoor pool or the wellness area which includes a sauna, steam room, sun loungers and a supremely relaxing indoor hot tub.

About the resort
St Anton is known for world-class terrain and a legendary après-ski scene. This is the place for intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders to really push themselves and then reward themselves after a big day on the mountain with a stein of beer or a (very) warming shnapps.
It has over 300kms of marked runs and some huge off-piste challenges. Absolutely stunning scenery adds to the glamour of this amazing resort and with four mountains to explore and loads of steep drops, it’s a great addition to the mighty Arlberg region.
Additions to the lift system means that the entire Arlberg region is connected. Finally, Lech, Zürs, St Cristoph and St Anton are now accessible without having to hop on a bus! Just what the piste hungry were wanting!

It's half board at the Hotel Arlberg. This means a hot and cold breakfast buffet in the morning and a five-course meal each evening. This comes complete with three choices for your main dish and salad buffet. There's also a weekly Gala buffet that you won't want to miss.
All of the rooms at the Arlberg are a good size and comfortable with cable TV, internet access and the bathrooms feature a hairdryer and bath or shower.
Some of the rooms have a balcony, and all of them are airy and bright, featuring lots of natural light and gorgeous mountain views. If you're looking for a little more space, upgrade to the superior rooms as they are slightly bigger and have a sofa bed included.
