You'll feel at home from the minute you arrive here. The welcome from the hotel's hosts is warm, genuine and comes with a complimentary cocktail too! It's convenient too as you can ski from the hotel to the nearest lift 200m away, and you can get back to within about 20m of the hotel without having to come out of your bindings.

After your day in the endless Three Valleys ski area, head back and spend an afternoon indulging in the adventure pool. You can lose hours in there as it has jet beds, lazy rivers and waterfalls. Afterwards, try the sauna and treat yourself to a bit of pampering with a massage or beauty treatment.

The whole hotel was built with relaxation in mind. There's a games room so you take on friends and family at a game of table football or pool. And the location (within easy reach of ski-lifts, ski school and the resort centre), the hotel bar with its lovely open fireplace and the very impressive food that comes from the kitchen, all enhance your mood and ensure you leave with a smile.

About the resort

Les Menuires is all about the pistes. It's a great base from which to explore the full reaches of the largest linked ski area in the world, but without all the fuss (and prices) of the other Three Valleys resorts. It's purpose built but with good quality, slopeside accommodation where you can find everything you need.

Les Menuires sits in the midst of the largest lift-linked ski area in the world and offers the most skiing of all the Three Valleys resorts with 160km of mainly blue pistes. Families and beginners are well provided for with a superb carpet conveyor lift and tranquil slopes in the Croisette area. The closest black runs are on La Masse; try the Bouquetin, Dame Blanche or the off piste run down into Orelle.

With the emphasis on the skiing there are fewer off slope activities and après ski is fairly quiet, although there are some lively bars if you know where to look.
