This really is a choice chalet. It has its own private swimming pool and sauna, it's 150m to the slopes and the views from the many balconies are fantastic. Being one of the largest chalets we have, there's plenty of space to chill after a day on the mountain, particularly in the über-roomy lounge.
You'll find the chalet in the Les Almes area, close to the entrance of Tignes and perfectly placed for easy access to the slopes, lifts and nightlife. Being just out of the town centre (400m away) and up a small hill means you're in for a peaceful nights sleep after enjoying the varied choice of nightlife.
The chalet is arranged over four floors with everything you could ask for including toasty warm boots in the morning, free Wi-Fi, comfy seating for all and a separate dining room. The private pool and sauna are prepped and ready for when you come back in from the slopes. Head for a dip before having some filling afternoon tea and freshly made cake.
Your hosts are on hand to make sure you're well looked after. They'll cook and clean as well as play resort info guide for you. They can arrange some extra coaching, help you book a table at a local restaurant, tell you the best après activities (and bars) to try and much more.

About the resort
Tignes is one of the most snowsure resorts in Europe. It's 2100m up in the high Tarantaise area of the French Alps where the skiing tops out at a breathless 3456m. It also happens to have some of the most exciting and challenging terrain in the world.
The resort is split in to two villages; Le Lac nestles on the shores of a frozen lake with beautiful views of Toviére mountain and the Grande Motte glacier. It's an ideal springboard into the massive Espace Killy ski area and has a good après-ski scene too. Val Claret sits around the other side of the lake at the bottom of the Grande Motte glacier and is probably the livelier of the two resorts.
It forms one half of the vast 300km Espace Killy area and it's just a quick drop over the hill (and a slightly eye-watering chairlift ride) into neighbouring Val d'Isère. The area suits all levels of skier and snowboarder, but intermediates and advanced levels won't be able to stop grinning as it was seemingly carved with them in mind!
It's not just on the mountain where the smiles happen. Try ice diving under the frozen lake, ice karting on the frozen lake or paragliding over the frozen lake. For something a bit more laid back, head to the Lagon Aqua and Well-being Centre. It has swimming pools, water slides, hot tubs, saunas - basically everything you need to help you unwind or fill an afternoon off the slopes.

Our chalet board basis is designed for skiers and boarders. Breakfast is a fairly extensive affair with cooked and continental options every day. Your daily afternoon tea of freshly baked cakes and biscuits will be waiting for you when you come in from the slopes.
Evening meals are a three-course set-menu with regionally inspired dishes and free-flowing wine throughout the week, all followed by fresh coffee.
We provide evening meals on six nights a week to leave you free to head out and explore the resort on one evening. For shorter holidays over New Year 2016/17, you still have one night free to explore the resort and local cuisine.
The two floors with bedrooms are identical with each having one club double, three club twins and one club triple room, all 10 of which are ensuite. All of them are a good size and most have a balcony with pretty impressive views over the resort and glacier. The beds are comfy, storage is plentiful and the bathrooms are modern.
