The Kashmir is a really choice place to stay in Val Thorens. The spaces are all so well thought out and beautifully presented with warm, rich colours, exquisite details and very comfortable furnishings.

The fact that you have direct access to the slopes, a wonderful selection of places to eat and drink with equally wonderful cuisine and a luxurious spa complete with indoor pool makes the Kashmir a special place to stay.

You'll love the panoramic terrace too. The views across the resort and glacier are made even better when you have a well-earned après drink in your hand!

About the resort

The highest ski resort in one of the largest ski areas in the world, Val Thorens is a reliably snow-covered area with swift lift access right at your door. It's the most southerly of The Three Valley resorts, and most of the nursery slopes are close to the village centre, making it the perfect ski holiday for families and beginners looking for a good time.

A huge variety of pistes make it an excellent choice for all levels, and the nightlife is fun and lively, with a fantastic après-ski scene. The die-hards looking for some off-piste mileage will also love the freeriding between Val Thorens and Mottaret.

Since it's a purpose-built resort it's got a good mix of activities, although it's not the place to be if you aren't going to be on the mountain. Because of the resort height and layout, it's ideal for both skiing and boarding.

There's a great range of bars, restaurants, creperies and pizza joints all huddled together in the centre of the resort, so it's easy to find something to do in the evenings. On top of that, there's a sports centre, which has a load of activities for kids and adults.
