The Hotel La Torre is one of the few four star hotels in Sauze and its distinctive Art Deco styling really sets it apart. It has a panoramic restaurant serving up superb cuisine and fantastic wines, all with views that drop away across the valley to the surrounding mountains.
When it comes to soaking any aching muscles, you'll want to head to the spa centre. It's right next door (just 30 metres or so from the hotel) and it has an indoor pool, hydro-massage treatments, a sauna, a steam room, a fitness room and dedicated relaxation areas. Entry is half price for Neilson guests too.
As you would expect of any self-respecting Art Deco building, there's a cool bar area which serves up a side of impressive scenery alongside their tasty cocktails. And another interesting feature of the hotel is that you'll find there's no stairs here. There's just a very unique 200 metre spiral walkway that provides access to all the floors, no steps required!

About the resort
Sauze d'Oulx sits at the northern end of the huge Milky Way ski area, perched on a sunny plateau. 'Sunny Sauze' (as it's come to be known) is particularly popular with the Brits and it's not a huge surprise as the resort is big on skiing but equally big on nightlife. It's a party town that's made even better due to the legendary skiing and boarding on offer.
As the gateway to some 400km of piste, it's a magnet for skiers and boarders who also like a bit of party action as well as their time on the mountains. It's a fantastic place for intermediate and advanced skiers and boarders thanks to endless cruisy blue runs and nearly 200kms of challenging reds.
At night the resort really comes to life. There's a huge amount of clubs, restaurants and bars offering a little bit of everything - live music, DJ sets, dancing, all available late into the night! Come for the mountains and stay for the nightlife.
