There's plenty to do off the slopes as well. Strolling around the many boutique shops and artisan food stores is a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Or for a bit more action, head to the ice rink or aquatic centre. There's also a nightclub for the those who like to party into the small hours.
The scenery is something you never tire of. To get a different perspective, head out into the local forests on a snowshoe walk or try cross-country skiing to see the more hidden parts of this incredible area.
