Hotel Derby is the place to be for groups that want to be right in the heart of the nightlife. It's a charming little hotel in a central location with lively après-ski happening all around it. You can even start in the ground floor of the hotel as it has its own very popular Derby Bar. Very convenient for the first tipple of the evening!
The hotel bar also boasts an open log fire, which everyone loves. There's Sky TV for keeping up with the outside world, and a cosy breakfast room for starting off the day. This place is a great value hotel with everything you really need on your holiday, and it's right in the centre of the resort.

About the resort
Sauze d'Oulx sits at the northern end of the huge Milky Way ski area, perched on a sunny plateau. 'Sunny Sauze' (as it's come to be known) is particularly popular with the Brits and it's not a huge surprise as the resort is big on skiing but equally big on nightlife. It's a party town that's made even better due to the legendary skiing and boarding on offer.
As the gateway to some 400km of piste, it's a magnet for skiers and boarders who also like a bit of party action as well as their time on the mountains. It's a fantastic place for intermediate and advanced skiers and boarders thanks to endless cruisy blue runs and nearly 200kms of challenging reds.
At night the resort really comes to life. There's a huge amount of clubs, restaurants and bars offering a little bit of everything - live music, DJ sets, dancing, all available late into the night! Come for the mountains and stay for the nightlife.

It's bed and breakfast here, so head down in the morning for a continental buffet to fuel up for your day on the slopes.
There are only 11 rooms at the Hotel Derby and each of them have been done to a very comfy standard - lots of exposed wood and cosy textiles. You can choose from the single, twin or triple room options and they all have a shower. Simple! However, we don't recommend this hotel for families with young children.
