The Casale is incredibly popular with our guests as it's a nice mix of a traditional chalet but with the size and facilities (ie a bar) of a small hotel. This creates a nice buzz around the chalet at après-ski when the bar is open and the drinks are flowing.
Like the chalet Motxo (pronounced mot-show) next door, the Casale has been lovingly converted from an old barn. Many of the original beams have been kept which gives a wonderful warm feel to the place. The large dining room is equally charming with its long tables for chalet-style meals and more wooden rafters adding to the warming feel.
Each of the bedrooms is a really good size with plenty of light and space to make you feel right at home. They all have an ensuite with shower, wc and a small selection of complimentary toiletries in case you forget your own.
This really is an ideal choice for couples or groups of friends looking for a home-from-home place to stay.

El Tarter is part of the massive 210km Grandvalira ski area. The snow conditions are good throughout the season (obviously warmer in spring) but you'll often see amazing snow in Andorra when the rest of Europe is struggling.
It's also home to one of the best ski schools in Europe too. They'll transform nervous beginners into confident improvers in no time. The speedy and advanced can also choose from a range of classes and clinics to push skills to the limit.
El Tarter is a really laid-back mountain town. Après is low-key with a few bars to choose from. L'Aberset bar straight off the slopes is pretty lively until about 8pm. Or head to the nearby Neilson Hotel Del Clos bar to carry on the party feel.
Not only is El Tarter a good choice for all levels of skier and snowboarder, the resort lends itself to those looking to enjoy a more chilled-out week.

Our chalet board basis is designed for skiers and boarders. Breakfast is a fairly extensive affair with cooked and continental options every day. Your daily afternoon tea of freshly baked cakes and biscuits will be waiting for you when you come in from the slopes.
Evening meals are a three-course set-menu with regionally inspired dishes and served with complimentary wine, all followed by fresh coffee. We provide evening meals on six nights a week to leave you free to head out and explore the resort on one evening.
The chalet hotel sleeps 38 people in 19 large, light and simply furnished twin rooms. Each has its own ensuite bathroom with a bath, with shower over and wc.
Don’t forget that you get free guiding and coaching throughout the week from fully qualified ski and board instructors with our Mountain Expert service.
Designed for confident blue and red-run skiers and snowboarders, they'll show you around the mountain on free guiding sessions, and even offer free coaching sessions to help you become a more confident skier or snowboarder.
