Activity holidays for kids

With endless energy to burn, it's no surprise kids love activity holidays. The chance to try fun new sports and activities, make new friends and run wild by the sea - it's the stuff childhood dreams are made off.

And they're never too young to start. We love welcoming little ones of all ages to our kid's activity holidays. Whether we're serving up delicious child-friendly food, making sure our family rooms are comfy and well-equipped or arranging full days of fun activities in our inclusive kids' clubs, it's all about putting smiles on faces.

Family activity holidays for children and adults give you the freedom to create your ideal balance between spending quality time together and enjoying some child-free downtime. We know parents need the chance to relax and recharge on holiday - and that's where our awesome kids' clubs come in. There's so much fun to be had, your children just won't want to leave.

At a glance...
  • Starfish creche for babies (four to 23 months)
  • Sea Urchin club for nursery age two and three years
  • Six separate clubs for 4 to 15 years olds
  • Club for older teens 16 - 17 year olds
  • Hot Shots club for keen sailors and windsurfers
  • High tea included for ages 5 and under
  • Evening care and sleep clubs

Our experienced childcare team look after children aged 4 months upwards in separate clubs, ranging from our Starish creche for babies aged four to 24 months old right up to our cool TAG activity club for teens aged 16 and 17 years. They even run sleep clubs and provide free evening care a few nights a week.

So, put parental guilt to one side and watch your kids grow in confidence, make new friends and generally have a whale of a time as they have a go at a huge range of exciting holiday activities for kids. There's a full day of adventure on offer six days a week, but feel free to sign your little ones in and out as you like throughout the day.

Our kids' clubs are always popular, so make sure you pre-book before you go to secure space in the club your children want.

Holiday activities and kids' clubs

Playing together as a family is what holidays are all about. So with that in mind, you’ll find many of our inclusive activities can be enjoyed by all ages. Hop in a kayak, enjoy a game of tennis, scale the climbing wall, head off on a family bike ride, or simply splash around in the pool or on the beach. As your children get older and more confident, you can expand their horizons further with activities such as rock climbing (for ages 8 upwards) and water skiing (children must be at least 120cm tall). There are plenty of ways to make lovely memories together.

Joining the fun at kids’ clubs is a great way for children to get stuck into new sports and activities. Our skilled team of nannies and instructors know just how to keep their club safe and entertained, whether they’re building a sandcastle with the babies or teaching older kids to sail. Each club lays on age-appropriate activities to suit the children in their care. From messy play, treasure hunts and picnics for the younger kids to water sports, pirate adventures and pool games for the older ones, there’s no chance of the dreaded holiday boredom striking!

Does your child need a little extra help?

We want all children to be able to do their thing to the max! The activities we offer in our kids' clubs are full of fun and adventure, with the health and well-being of the children at the heart of what we do.

Large groups, new environments and exciting activities can sometimes be a little over whelming for children with additional needs, even if they thrive in main stream education. When this is the case, they may benefit from our one-to-one care service. This great service is designed to ensure all children are getting the incredible level of care they deserve as well as being able to safely enjoy activities as part of a group along with their new friends in kids' club.

Talk to us on 0333 014 3351 about the one-to-one care service and if it's right for you and your family.

Good to know

Every day you will be able to sign your children in and out of their club as many times as you wish. You'll find the daily schedule of activities outside the clubrooms so you can check out exactly what's in store for the day ahead. The clubs are always in great demand and places are limited. Pre-booking is essential to guarantee a place. When not in a club, children wishing to use the sailing, windsurfing, kayaking and SUP equipment must get permission from their parents or guardians and the beach supervisor before being allowed out onto the water. Children aged 14 and above can also join in with the adult teaching sessions.

All children booked into the clubs (except TAG) will receive a rash vest, Starfish, Sea Urchins, Sea Badgers and Surfbusters, Sharksters and Stingrays will also get a sun hat and drawstring bag to keep their kit together. You'll also need to make sure they've got their swimming stuff, a towel, sun cream and a change of clothes.

If your child falls ill during the holiday, you will be expected to take over care until there is no further risk of the illness spreading (please note that a doctors certificate may be required). Individual clubs run subject to minimum numbers. If numbers are low we may combine clubs to create a more enjoyable experience for the children. If numbers for Wave Riders and TAG are low we may run a reduced programme of organised activities.
