Kitesurfing

Have you ever watched people kitesurfing with ease and thought 'I want some of that'? Well now you can. Come and learn with us in the warm water of Sardinia and Lemnos. Both of these islands have superb conditions for kitesurfing and great weather too. Sardinia is also one of the best kitesurfing spots in Europe.

At a glance...
  • NEW activity for 2017
  • Learn to kitesurf in Sardinia or Lemnos
  • Great for experienced kitesurfer's too
  • Non-inclusive activity
  • Pre-book the intro to kitesurfing course for £275pp

The water is warm and clear, the sun is shining and the wind blowing - just perfect for your first time. As kitesurfing has origins in so many other water sports, you should find some aspects of the sport relatively easy to pick up - even snowboarders will find similarities.

Intro to kitesurfing

Book a holiday to Baia dei Mori or Portomyrina Palace Beachclub, pay a little extra, and you can learn to kitesurf!  You'll start by learning to fly the kite whilst on the beach, so that once you're on the water you can control where you're going. You'll also learn how to launch and land the kite, experience a technique called 'body dragging' (basically kitesurfing without the board - it's a lot of fun). Finally you'll bring the board and kite together on the water. From the moment you launch your first kite and skim across the water, you'll be hooked on this exciting water sport.

Intro to kitesurfing can be pre-booked for £275 per person, the course runs over three days with two hours tuition per day. In both locations the lessons are taken off-site at a beach approx. 30 minutes away from the beachclub.

More experience?

If you can already kitesurf, you can hire kit (or bring your own) and go kitesurfing at one of the local kitesurf beaches. If you want to improve your skills, talk to one of the instructors about the skills you wish to focus on and any lessons that may benefit you.

All kitesurfing takes place off-site at beaches approx. 30 minutes away from away from Baia dei Mori and Portomyrina Palace Beachclubs - transfers can be arranged if needed.
