Just a short and easy walk from the hotel, you'll find the Solaise Express and Olympique gondola, your gateway to the impressive Val d’Isère - Tignes ski area. Glide up on the Solaise Express to reach the scenic Solaise and Le Fornet slopes. Or hop on the Olympique gondola, which takes you across to Tignes and drops you near the iconic La Folie Douce, home of high-altitude après-ski.

At Neilson, dining is more than just fuel for the slopes; it’s part of the experience. Our expert chefs craft elegant, French-inspired menus as impressive as the mountain views. From leisurely breakfasts to indulgent dinners, you’ll eat well.

Mornings begin with a generous spread of cooked and continental favourites, perfect for setting you up for a big day on the snow. Then there’s afternoon tea, an absolute guest favourite and daily highlight. After a day on the slopes, you’ll return to the irresistible aroma of freshly baked cakes and biscuits, still warm from the oven.

Each evening, settle in for a three-course meal showcasing the best regional Alpine cuisine, rounded off with freshly brewed coffee. During dinner service (7:00–9:00pm), you can enjoy unlimited wine, beer, spirits with mixers, and soft drinks, all included with your meal. For those who’d like to explore the drinks menu further, a curated selection of premium wines and spirits is also available for an additional charge.

Outside the dining room, a sun-drenched terrace with plush sofas and tables offers the ideal setting for basking in the sunshine or sipping your après-ski drink, all while soaking in panoramic views of the town and mountains.

Most rooms connect, so we can accommodate most group sizes. All have beautiful en-suite bathrooms, bathrobes and slippers, toiletries, and a hairdryer. The spacious bedrooms are fully equipped with flat-screen tv's, free Wi-Fi, and most, but not all, have balconies overlooking the resort.

Local tourist taxes are payable by you when you check out of Hotel & Spa Le Savoie. The charge is €2.86 per person per night (correct as of June 2025).

Our Neilson-run kids’ clubs and crèches care for children aged 4 months to 12 years, with plenty of snow-filled fun, age-appropriate activities, a handy ski school drop-off and pick-up for young skiers and evening care. It’s all designed to make family holidays feel oh-so-easy. You can reserve a spot when booking your stay – just be quick, as spaces are limited and fill up fast.

Get more from the mountain with our exclusive Mountain Expert Service, available only to Neilson guests. Throughout the week, you’ll have the chance to join free daily sessions led by a professional instructor who knows Val d’Isère like the back of their glove.

Think of it as the ultimate insider’s guide. Coaching sessions are designed around your ability, whether cruising blues or confident on reds. We aim to give you at least 2 sessions during your stay, with everything explained by your Neilson Mountain Experts when you arrive.

Transfer information
There’s a new arrival setup in Val d’Isère - guests for Hotel & Spa Le Savoie and Hotel Ducs de Savoie will disembark the airport transfer at the La Daille bus station, before a short resort bus ride to the hotels. Get the full lowdown here.
