Get a taste of summer with an our very own Aperol spritz recipe, a popular aperitif in Italy. This recipe comes with a Neilson twist!

Ingredients

100ml prosecco 60ml Aperol 20ml soda water 1-2 dashes of rose petal water Orange zest Cucumber peel

Mix it up

You’ll need a gin glass or a large wine glass for this one with plenty of ice cubes as this one is best served as cold as possible. Add your prosecco, Aperol, soda and rose water. Many recommend the 3-2-1 method for an Aperol spritz (3 parts prosecco, 2 parts Aperol and 1 part soda water) but you can adjust the measures to personal taste. Garnish with the orange zest and cucumber peel or add an olive on a cocktail stick across the top of the glass like a true Italian.
