Watersports Holidays

You've come to the right place if you're looking for a holiday jam-packed with water sports. Whatever you're into we've got it covered. Our holidays include a whole range of water sports, choose from dinghy sailing, windsurfing, water skiing, wakeboarding, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding. If that's not enough, for a little extra, you can book a kitesurfing course from our beachclubs in Sardinia and Lemnos.

All of our clubs in Croatia, Greece, Italy and Sardinia offer a choice of inclusive water sports. Some beachclubs are better for sailing, some are great for water skiing and wakeboarding, but all have a great choice and inclusive tuition from our teams of water sports instructors. Be sure to check out the individual beachclub pages to choose the perfect club for you and to check which water sports are available.

Dinghy sailing

One of our most popular water sports, dinghy sailing is available in all of our beachclubs, with the exception of Cosmos Beachclub, where the focus is most definitely on windsurfing. You may be an expert sailor or setting sail for the first time, either way we've got something for you.

There's daily group tuition from our experienced and knowledgeable team of water sports instructors and Royal Yachting Association (RYA) courses covering Level 1 Start Sailing and Level 2 Basic Skills if you're after a qualification. If you can already sail, you're free to sail independently within the sailing area.

The best conditions for dinghy sailing can be found at the following beachclubs: Alana in Croatia, Vounaki, Messini, Buca, Portomyrina Palace and Aeolian Village in Greece, Airone in Italy and Baia dei Mori in Sardinia.

Windsurfing is an exhilarating water sport that you can pick up and start learning whatever your age or ability on our beachclub holidays. With expert instruction from our team of water sports instructors the basics will quickly become second nature. Windsurfing is included in the cost of your holiday, so you can dip in and out during the week depending on wind conditions and your energy levels.

Windsurfing is available at all ten of our beachclubs in Croatia, Greece, Italy and Sardinia, but for the best wind conditions, kit and level of instruction we would recommend heading to Cosmos Beachclub in Vassiliki, Greece, Aeolian Village Beachclub on the island of Lesvos in Greece or Baia dei Mori Beachclub on Sardinia.

Water skiing and wakeboarding

Water skiing and wakeboarding are both inclusive water sports. On our beachclub holidays you'll get up to two inclusive tows per person per week, so if you've never been water skiing or wakeboarding before, now's your chance to try something new.

If you catch the bug (which is highly likely) and still have the energy for more, there are a number of upgrade packages available. These are tailored for beginners to experts and are based around British Water Ski and Wakeboard (BWSW) qualifications.

You can water ski or wakeboard at most of our beachclubs (with the exception of Airone in Italy, Baia dei Mori in Sardinia, Aeolian Village and Cosmos in Greece). To make the most of these exhilarating water sports we would recommend a holiday to Alana, Retreat or Vounaki Beachclubs.

Stand up paddle boarding

Make the most of the beautiful bays and clear, warm water at our beachclubs and give this most accessible of water sports a go. Stand up paddle boarding or SUP as it's more commonly known is pretty easy to get to grips with. With just a few pointers from our water sports team and one of our super stable inflatable boards you'll be ready to go.

It's a totally inclusive activity and the boards are lined up on the water front ready and waiting to go. SUP can be enjoyed from all of our beachclubs, but for the best conditions and coastal scenery we would recommend you pay a trip to Retreat or Vounaki Beachclub.

Kayaking has to be one of the easiest ways to get on the water. It's a water sport that can be enjoyed by most people, regardless of age or ability. Every beachclub has stacks of sit-on-top kayaks for one or two people. They can be taken out independently whenever the water sports beach is open, or if you want to kayak in company join us on a kayak safari. The kayak safari is a great way to explore the local coastline and give those arms and shoulders a work out too!

If you're keen for a bit of formal instruction, join us at Retreat Beachclub in Greece where we run British Canoe Union (BCU) courses, these courses are aimed at beginners or those with limited experience and are included in the cost of the holiday.

Kitesurfing is the latest water sport that you can try on a beachclub holiday. It's a non-inclusive activity, so it will cost you a little extra, but it's such a thrill you'll be delighted you took the plunge.

Kitesurfing is available exclusively from two of our beachclubs; Baia dei Mori in Sardinia and Portomyrina Palace on the island of Lemnos in Greece. In both locations we will hook you up with a local kitesurf school who will soon have you skimming across the turquoise water powered by the wind and your kite.
