Along with its sister chalets (or should that be brother and sister chalets) Hanzel and Kandi, we're happy to introduce Chalet Gretl to the Neilson Mountain Collection. They all share a building in the peaceful Stadl area of the St Anton.
With just three Austrian twin beds, it only sleeps six, but does so in comfort and style. There's a warm, contemporary feel to the chalet with lots of home comforts to make you feel welcome right away. The small steam room will certainly warm you up after a day on the slopes.
The lifts and thriving centre of St Anton are around ten to fifteen minute's walk down the hill, or you can hop on the regular ski bus which stops right outside the chalet. Don't worry about having to bring your skis or board and boots back to the chalet, just hire your equipment through Neilson and you can leave it at the rental shop which is close to the Rendlbahn gondola.
Nearest lift: 1km to the lifts to Rendlbahn gondola or 1.2km to Galzigbahn Gondola
Nearest slope: 1.2km to Zammermoos blue run
Tuition meeting point: 1.2km (top of the Galzigbahn gondola)
Resort centre: 1km
Ski bus stop: 10m
St Anton is known for world-class terrain and a legendary après-ski scene. This is the place for intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders to really push themselves and then reward themselves after a big day on the mountain with a stein of beer or a (very) warming shnapps.
It has over 300kms of marked runs and a further 200km freeride area with some huge off-piste challenges. Absolutely stunning scenery adds to the glamour of this amazing resort and with four mountains to explore and loads of steep drops, it’s a great addition to the mighty Arlberg region.
Additions to the lift system means that the entire Arlberg region is connected. Finally, Lech, Zürs, St Cristoph and St Anton are now accessible without having to hop on a bus! Just what the piste hungry were wanting!

Our chalet board basis is designed for skiers and boarders. Start every morning with an extensive continental breakfast, and cooked options on most days. Your daily afternoon tea of freshly baked cakes and biscuits will be waiting for you when you come in from the slopes.
Evening meals are a three-course set-menu with regionally inspired dishes and free-flowing wine throughout the week, all followed by fresh coffee. We provide evening meals on six nights a week leaving you free to head out and explore the resort on one evening.
The three Austrian twin bedrooms have plenty of space and light plus enough storage for all of your luggage. Each room also has a modern feel and is ensuite with a shower, wc and luxurious Temple Spa toiletries.
Don’t forget that you get free guiding and coaching throughout the week from fully qualified ski and board instructors with our Mountain Expert service.
Designed for confident blue and red-run skiers and snowboarders, they'll show you around the mountain on free guiding sessions, and even offer free coaching sessions to help you become a more confident skier or snowboarder.
