Chalet Kandi is the largest of the three Neilson Mountain Collection chalets in this recently built apartment-style chalet building. The Kandi sleeps eight while its brother and sister chalets, Hanzel and Gretl sleep six, but all are perfect for small groups of friends or families.

You'll find them in the quiet Stadl area of St Anton, about a ten to fifteen minute walk up the hill from the lively centre of the resort, guaranteeing a restful night's sleep!

The lounge/diner and each of the four Austrian twin bedrooms are quite contemporary, but with a gentle nod to the more traditional stylings with chunky wooden tables and plenty of cosy soft furnishings.

The vibrant resort centre with its many bars, clubs and restaurants, plus the speedy lifts are a ten to fifteen minute walk down the hill too. Alternatively, hop on the regular ski bus which stops just outside the chalet.

For convenience, make sure you hire your equipment through Neilson as you'll be able to leave it at the rental shop which is close to the Rendlbahn gondola.

About the resort

St Anton is known for world-class terrain and a legendary après-ski scene. This is the place for intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders to really push themselves and then reward themselves after a big day on the mountain with a stein of beer or a (very) warming shnapps.

It has over 300kms of marked runs and a further 200km freeride area with some huge off-piste challenges. Absolutely stunning scenery adds to the glamour of this amazing resort and with four mountains to explore and loads of steep drops, it’s a great addition to the mighty Arlberg region.

Additions to the lift system means that the entire Arlberg region is connected. Finally, Lech, Zürs, St Cristoph and St Anton are now accessible without having to hop on a bus! Just what the piste hungry were wanting!

Food and drink

Our chalet board basis is designed for skiers and boarders. Start every morning with an extensive continental breakfast, and cooked options on most days. Your daily afternoon tea of freshly baked cakes and biscuits will be waiting for you when you come in from the slopes.

Evening meals are a three-course set-menu with regionally inspired dishes and free-flowing wine throughout the week, all followed by fresh coffee. We provide evening meals on six nights a week leaving you free to head out and explore the resort on one evening.

Rooms

With four Austrian twin bedrooms, the Kandi comfortably sleeps up to eight people in modern, stylish bedrooms. Each is light and spacious, two of which have an ensuite shower and wc while the other two share a bathroom, one of which has a shower over a jetted bath and the other a shower and wc. You'll also find luxurious Temple Spa toiletries in each bathroom.

Neilson Mountain Experts

Don’t forget that you get free guiding and coaching throughout the week from fully qualified ski and board instructors with our Mountain Expert service.

Designed for confident blue and red-run skiers and snowboarders, they'll show you around the mountain on free guiding sessions, and even offer free coaching sessions to help you become a more confident skier or snowboarder.

There are at least three sessions a week and we guarantee each guest at least two sessions a week. Your hosts will explain how it works when you get there.
