Ski & Snowboard Resorts

The manager and all of her staff who we met were delightfully helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome.
Our room was of an excellent standard, comfortable and very quiet with a great view of the mountains.
The spa was of a high standard and well set out. It was just what we needed after an active day.
Meals were of a very high standard, with more than enough food before and after a sporting day. The menu each day was just right.
The hotel's resident ski guide was helpful and very accomodating. For instance we had not ordered ski passes because we were erntitled to free passes because of our ages, but the correct passes were waiting for us at the hotel - that was very thoughtful of the Company and Staff.

Great holiday with seamless transfer, great food and lovely warm comfortable accommodation. Superb food and service and afternoon tea and kids’ high tea great. Staff super helpful - picked up our kids coats that they left in the bus shelter. Nothing too much trouble. Really loved this holiday.

Book ski locker in El Tarter in advance online for peace of mind - Riba Escorxada through Grandalvira website or if you want to ski down each day then the other El Tarter locker.
Buy your own ski pass as you’ll have to go and get the insurance added in the ski resort anyway
My hot water was most reliable in the morning - son’s bath could be hit and miss, but we managed and not everybody had a water issue
Buses only take cash and charge 3 years and up
Book the spa Caldea in advance - might need passports for kid proof of being 5 or over - on Saturdays there is a kids’ spa and they’ll supervise the kids
Soldeu nice place to ski to and hang out at the foot of the slopes
If you’re a good skier probably best to join the Neilson ski group rather than try lessons
