New to the Mountain Collection for 2019/20, Chalet Hermine is just one of six Neilson-run ski chalets which make up a mini-village set on the hillside in the picturesque area of Peisey Vallandry, just below Les Arcs 1800. Sitting at the top of the hillside and right next to the lifts linking you to Les Arcs and across the valley to La Plagne, you can't beat the west-facing views and dreamy sunsets from the Hermine.

The chalet has been very well laid out across five floors. The top three are dedicated to bedrooms and the outdoor hot tub and indoor steam room. The next floor down is the heart of the chalet as it's where you'll find the large open-plan living room come diner with its gorgeous fireplace and sun terrace. The bottom floor is home, unusually for a chalet, to a large communal bar for all Neilson chalet guests - ideal for an après drink or two.

Our 2019/20 family guests will love our full range of Neilson-run kids' clubs, also located on the ground floor of the chalet. Our experienced team of nannies will look after your little ones from the age of four months right up to 12 years old with plenty of fun both in the warm and out in the fresh mountain air.

Head to your home-from-home after a day's exploring in the massive 425km Paradiski area to an afternoon tea with freshly-made cake and biscuits. Kick back on the large sofas, warm up in front of the fire and swap stories. Or for a little more relaxation and rejuvenation, hit the steam room and outdoor hot tub to soak in the snowy valley views.

If you're staying in the Hermine, you don't need to worry about any noise coming from the bar. The chalets are very well built and the bedrooms are two whole floors away.

About the resort...

Peisey Vallandry is a small collection of hamlets just below Les Arcs with a small selection of shops, bars, restaurants, a cinema and a bank. It's the place to be for easy access to all of Les Arcs 200km of runs, plus the high-speed link to neighbouring La Plagne and the other half of the 425km Paradiski ski area. The lifts are excellent and quick so you spend more time on the slopes than waiting to get on them!

With guaranteed snow thanks to a snow sure glacier, there's so much terrain here that all levels of skier and snowboarder will be kept happy. All of the runs around Peisey Vallandry are wide and tree-lined which makes for a great cruisy training ground and a lovely home run at the end of the day (or through the trees for the more advanced). Or why not stop off for a bit of après at the new Folie Douce? There's a ski bus from the bar which drops you pretty much back to the chalet too!

Higher up, Les Arcs is split into four villages, all of which have a different feel and appeal.  Nightlife is quiet in Peisey Vallandry with only a handful of places to eat and drink, but you can hop on the ski bus or in a cab and head up to the livelier Les Arc 1800 for a bigger choice of bars and restaurants.

For skiing kids, we offer a ski school drop-off and pick-up service, ensuring they're happy and settled. There's also evening care available on three evenings a week.

If you have under fives, your chalet hosts will be able to cook up an earlier, dedicated kids' meal with all the firm favourites to make sure they're well fed. You can also borrow our snow buggies and sledges for when you want to head out and explore the resort by yourselves.

For our youngest guests, we have a 24 hour baby room and UK standard cots and highchairs, just let us know at the time of booking if you'd like a cot in your room.
