Ski & Snowboard Resorts

Our third Christmas at Le Toviere the reason’s being:
Warm welcoming staff some of which have been here each year and have been with Nelson for some years both in the summer and winter.
Excellent, varied and plentiful food with a great choice it was lovely to see the chef who came out to see us and asked our opinion about the meals and welcomed feedback. The cakes at tea time were wonderful.
Our room was spotless, beds comfortable, very hot water, temperature was perfect it can be changed at reception if required and an added bonus tea and coffee making facilities.
A pleasant lounge area where everyone gathered at tea time and on an evening made for a convivial atmosphere.
Secure heated ski/boot lockers
I can’t comment on the spa as we didn’t use it but many people had a massage and were very happy with it.
The location is first class 5 mins to the funicular and gondola very easy access to both ski areas of Val d’Isere and Tignes. The frequent bus to the village stops just down the road but it’s only a pleasant 15 minute walk at the side of river or road if you prefer
A special mention to Neilson rep Cara and Magalie the hotel manager who both go the extra mile to ensure you are happy with your stay.
Not the height of luxury but in my opinion a great ski hotel.

We enjoyed the holiday with the snow and weather being kind. The staff at the Hotel de Clos were very attentive and helpful. Because Andorra is not within EU roaming we had to make use of what's app on Wi-Fi. This is fine but the hotel Wi-Fi was weak and did not cover the whole bedroom.

The resort has a big ski area but the connecting links need a lot of improvement especially when the resort is busy, particularly when good snow conditions combine with nice weather. Some of lift queues were 20 minutes plus.

Awesome ski holiday.
Food was incredible.
Staff very helpful always cheerful.
Skiing into 3 valleys so couldn’t be better ski area.
Rooms fine - not luxury but clean and had everything needed.
Would definitely go again.
