This is the very definition of luxury in Livigno. The Lac Salin has it all - modern and contemporary interiors, super stylish design details and high quality finishes, all with a touch of eco-friendliness. Add to that the fantastic standards when it comes to both service and cuisine and it's a wonder anyone ever leaves.
The hotel is right on the Doss 18 piste and nursery slopes for convenience. They offer some very unique experiences to their guests as well. Take part in the free weekly snow shoe trip, try Tai Chi lessons - where else can you get that?
On top of that, they have lots of other ways to pass the time - head out to the sun terrace with your morning coffee, or spend an evening in the wine cellar trying something new. Kids will love the children's playroom, and there's also room service for when you fancy a lazy night in.

About the resort
Livigno is a charming, traditional alpine village with a friendly and cosmopolitan vibe right on the Swiss border. It's a vibrant place that's still a bit of a secret to many. It's a resort that has something to please everyone, so you'd better plan your visit before the secret gets out!
The resort itself sits on the valley floor with the ski runs on either side of the town. Even though the 115km runs doesn't sound like much, there's tons to do here. It's more like North America in that you can pretty much ski or snowboard anywhere.
Beginners will be kept happy thanks to the excellent English speaking ski schools while intermediates will relish the large number of blue and red runs. On top of that, the pedestrian centre consists of three kilometres of bars, restaurants and duty-free shops for when you're not carving up the slopes.
The lively après-ski scene suits many tastes. You'll find traditional Italian restaurants serving inexpensive local cuisine, fantastic pizzerias and rockin' bars and pubs for something a bit more exciting. Try Marcos and Daphne's pub for a pint of Guinness, or dance the night away in the resort nightclubs. And of course there's the duty-free shopping - you'll definitely want to leave room in your suitcase on the way out!

Food and drink
A place as luxurious as this should have a great menu on offer, and that's true at Lac Salin. If you're staying here you can enjoy a hot and cold breakfast buffet.
