Introducing Neilson x The Ravenala Attitude – your all-year-round tropical playground. Part of the Neilson Inside Collection, we’ve teamed up with Attitude Hotels, and we're going long haul with our first-ever adventure in Mauritius.
Set on the edge of the turquoise Indian Ocean and the tranquil, meandering Lemon River, this laid-back, luxurious resort is where chilled island vibes meet signature Neilson action. Think paddle boards, palm trees, and plenty of Good Energy.
From oceanfront yoga sessions to snorkelling over coral reefs, The Ravenala Attitude offers a range of ways to move, stretch, and explore. Discover SUP yoga at sunrise, fitness classes in the shade of the palms, and guided adventures both above and below the waves – including sea scooters, sailing, and cycling.
And when it’s time to slow things down? Sunset yoga, sound baths, and the gentle sway of a hammock are all part of the rhythm here. Every activity is included and run by our expert Neilson team – just bring your flip-flops and your sense of adventure.
It wouldn’t be a luxury getaway without some quality time in the spa. Tucked into the resort’s tranquil gardens, the Spa POZ is a sanctuary. Treatments blend Mauritian botanicals with a zen-meets-serenity vibe; it’s the kind of place you wander into… and happily forget the time.
Dining is a standout experience. With nine restaurants (including a snack bar) and six bars – from beachside bites to elegant, adults-only dinners in a floating restaurant – every mealtime feels like an occasion. You’ll find everything from Asian, Italian, and Mediterranean flavours to Japanese delicacies, fresh seafood, bistro-style dining, Mauritian specialities, and even street food served from a vibrant food truck.
After a day of activity or relaxation, your room beckons for a blissful night’s sleep. An all-suite hotel through and through, with those exotic flourishes that make you instantly want to slow your pace. Each suite feels warm and soulful, with natural woods and considered details - all wrapped up in a serene, ‘I-could-stay-here-forever’ calm.
Bringing the kids? You’re in good hands. Set in its own garden in the heart of the resort, our kids’ club zone has space to roam. During school holidays, our inclusive clubs keep everyone from 4 months to 13 years happily entertained, while older teens (13+) can join the adult activity programme. Outside the holidays, the focus shifts to our youngest explorers, with dedicated clubs for children aged 4 months to 5 years.
From reef-lined lagoons to palm-shaded gardens, soothing spa moments to adventures on land and sea, this is a tropical island paradise, the Neilson way.

Neilson guests stay on an all-inclusive basis, with a dine-around experience that lets you enjoy dinner at a choice of restaurants, all with no supplement.
Whether you're in the mood for, there's a table waiting. Mozaik, the main buffet restaurant, offers a mix of local and international dishes in a relaxed, spacious setting. Madam Ming, located poolside, brings bold flavours from Thailand to China. A Tavola serves up Italian favourites in a trattoria-style space, while O delivers fresh fish and sun-kissed flavours right on the beach – think sand between your toes and stars overhead. For something heartier, The Bistro offers a modern setting with slow-cooked dishes, roasted meats and gourmet burgers.
If you’re after something extra special, Riviera is an elegant, adults-only floating restaurant set over the river – perfect for a romantic evening. Kot Nou, right by the beach, celebrates authentic Mauritian home cooking, while Lime, our open-air sushi bar, adds a Japanese twist to island dining. Lime Restaurant is included exclusively for guests staying in Executive Beachfront Suites, while Riviera is available to all guests for a supplement.
Wherever you choose, dining here always feels like an occasion – with warm sea breezes, swaying palms and long, lazy evenings. And when the mood strikes for something casual, head to the street food truck for a bite of local flavour, island-style.
The bars here feel straight out of a movie - beachy and laid-back, from relaxed piano bars to plush hotel lounges and poolside spots. Island luxury runs through it all, best enjoyed with a local cocktail in hand: a smooth blend of rum and locally grown sugar cane. When the night calls for drinks and dancing, the adults-only after bar delivers effortless island party vibes - no rush home, sunrise optional.

Kayaking and paddle boarding
Paddle sports are the headline act here. The vast, sheltered lagoon and lazy river are practically made for kayaking and paddle boarding - in fact, we’d happily claim it’s the best in the Beach Club bunch.
Inside the reef, the water stays calm and glassy, and the marine life is so lively you can spot it from above… which is exactly why we’ve got glass-bottom kayaks ready to go.

Kids' Clubs
During school holidays, we offer inclusive kids’ clubs for children aged 4 months to 13 years, plus extra activities designed to keep teens happy, active and entertained. Older teens (13+) are welcome to join the adult activity programme as well.
Outside school holidays, we focus on our youngest guests, running dedicated clubs for children aged 4 months to 5 years, giving you the chance to enjoy some well-earned grown-up time while they’re in safe, happy hands.
With a broad sweep of sandy beach and calm, lagoon-like shallows, little ones have the perfect backdrop for shoreline adventures. The kids’ clubs are located at the heart of their enclosed garden, complete with a kids’ pool and ample space to explore. It’s a setting made for big imaginations and even bigger smiles.
Babies from 4 to 23 months can join our Starfish crèche (available at a supplement) – but don’t forget to pre-book to guarantee their place. For families travelling with babies or toddlers, we’ve thought of the extras: cots, baby baths, pushchairs.

Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden
Located in Pamplemousses, which bears its name from a local citrus plant, lies a giant, tropical treasure chest. Wander through towering palms, spice trees and those famous giant water-lilies that look like they were designed for fairies. It’s calm, colourful and magical - the perfect breather from beach life.
Port Louis
Mauritius’ capital is the island turned up to eleven. Dive into the Central Market for a riot of colour - spices, fruit, street snacks and locals bargaining with Olympic-level skill. Wander down to the Caudan Waterfront where colonial architecture meets modern boutiques, cafés and marina views that beg for a long lunch. Explore the Blue Penny Museum, stroll past street art, or just soak up the lively buzz that makes Port Louis feel like the island’s beating heart. It’s vibrant, characterful and absolutely worth the wander.
Grand Baie
The island’s buzzy little hotspot - boutiques, bars, beach cafés and enough colour to fill an entire holiday album. Whether you’re browsing, bar-hopping or simply strolling with an ice cream, Grand Baie is where the island’s playful spirit comes out to shine.
Ruins of Balaclava
Moments from the resort, these old sugar-estate ruins sit wrapped in tropical greenery and tell the island’s story in the most atmospheric way. Wander through crumbling stone walls, find the little waterfalls and soak up a slice of Mauritian history with a side of the Jungle Book vibes.
