Family holidays to Sardinia let you mix Caribbean-style island life with a generous helping of Mediterranean culture. World-famous, the sweeping seascapes could easily pass for far distant shores, but it’s Sardinia’s short-haul plane journey, crystal-clear waters and the best cycling any of our beachclubs can offer that make Sardinia a hit for family holidays.
At Baia dei Mori Beachclub the waters are shallow, warm and still. Perfect for beginners looking to master a new watersport and ideal conditions for little ones to take a paddle. Windsurfers and sailors won’t be disappointed though, further out in the bay the breezes pick up nicely around midday.
Family holidays in Sardinia really do offer something for all the family. Foodies will love the multi-cultural recipes with Spanish, Italian and local flavours, while adventurers of all ages will love exploring Sardinia’s hidden coves, ancient monuments and winding coastal roads.

Enjoying family holidays in Sardinia
Families need not worry about being bored in Sardinia. With a whole host of inclusive activities at the beachclub - both on land and on the water, plus the rest of the island to explore, you’ll be spoilt for choice each day. One of the best ways to make the most of your family holiday to Sardinia is to hit the cycling trails. We’ve got bikes of all styles and sizes so the whole family can explore together. Sardinia’s cycling is among the best in the world, with stunning scenery and fantastic tracks and roads to zip along. As well as beautiful scenery, little ones in the group can keep an eye out for wildlife along the way - with birds, butterflies and lizards among the host of creatures to spot.
When you’re done with exploring, the tranquil waters are a great spot for a paddle boarding session, kayak trip or (for a supplement) you can also give kitesurfing a go. Back on dry land, there are fitness classes to keep you on the move and four tennis courts for you to perfect that backhand on.
For a very different pace of life, head to Costa Smeralda. Situated to the north of our Baia dei Mori Beachclub, Sardinia’s people watching hot spot is the place to see and be seen. Think super yachts and more than a touch of glitz and glamour.
