Pas de la Casa ski holidays

Pas de la Casa in Andorra is one half of the highly impressive yet little known 210km Grandvalira ski area. At 2100m, it's also the highest resort in the area which gives it some of the best snow conditions in all of Andorra.

It has fast lift links between the 114 pistes in the Grandvalira, so getting to Grau Roig, Soldeu and El Tarter takes no time at all. The entire area can be explored on one great value lift pass too.

2019/20 sees a new lift linking the Peretol area and its advanced level Sunset freestyle park into the main Grandvalira area. Previously only accessed by car or bus, skiers and boarders can now ski to get some serious air!

At a glance...
  • 210km Grandvalira ski area
  • Legendary nightlife
  • Virtually tax-free
  • Perfect for group holidays
  • Large sports centre with indoor pool
  • Sunday flying from Gatwick or Manchester
  • 3 hour transfer (incl. comfort break)

With its legendary apres-ski scene, Pas de la Casa isn’t short on lively bars. For a laid-back beer, visit one of the themed pubs on offer, like the Dubliner – a more intimate venue than its livelier neighbour, Paddy’s Bar – this is the place for a low-key evening with friends.

Of course, it's not all about the après, there are some more laid-back winter sports on offer. For couples who want to make the most of their holiday together, a snowshoe hike among the snowy slopes is a great way to get active together.

On the mountain

At 2100m, Pas de la Casa is the highest resort in all of the Grandvalira ski area. That high altitude also means great snow throughout the season. Its fast lift links up to Grau Roig, Soldeu and El Tarter (all on the one lift pass) makes sure everyone is on the snow more of the time.

Snowboarding and freestyle skiing is growing fast in Pas thanks to excellent parks and boarder-cross areas. If you're looking to get into freestyle or want to get better, sign up for a camp that will teach you how to improve your kickers, hips and rails via video analysis and top coaching.

The après in Pas de la Casa has quite the reputation - and a good one at that! It’s known as a place to ski hard, party hard, and people do. It's helped by a main strip full of inviting bars with live music and DJ sets heading way into the night.

The range of nightlife is so varied though that you can party all night or lounge with a glass of wine in one of the more laid-back bars.
