What's new for 2019
You'll find the Engel in a quiet and picturesque spot in Canazei, just 500m from the vibrant centre. This gives you the best of both worlds as you can enjoy some superb après in the many bars and restaurants but head back for a restful nights' sleep.
It's a classically Tyrolean style hotel with plenty of local touches for an authentic stay. The restaurant serves up delicious and filling cuisine with traditional flavours and healthy ingredients.
It's easy to relax here, and with facilities such as a steam room, sauna and small spa to ease any tired muscles, it's easy to see why. If that's not your thing, maybe the bar or games room will hit the spot instead?

Canazei is very popular in the Dolomites and it's no wonder. There's a lovely buzz about the place and being surrounded by the towering Dolomites is a constant reminder of the vast ski area you're in.
Virtually the entire 1200km+ area is snowsure thanks to the nearby Marmolada Glacier and that 97% of the runs can make snow when conditions are right.
There's plenty to do off the slopes as well. Strolling around the many boutique shops and artisan food stores is a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Or for a bit more action, head to the ice rink or aquatic centre. There's also a nightclub for the those who like to party into the small hours.
The scenery is something you never tire of. To get a different perspective, head out into the local forests on a snowshoe walk or try cross-country skiing to see the more hidden parts of this incredible area.
