Water skiing holiday

We have literally had the best holiday, it has far superseded our expectations. It is our first time at a Nielson resort and it definitely won’t be the last! All the staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and fun, they make you feel like you’re extra special or at least they certainly did with my son Connor. The tennis team were amazing, I had Gavin for my Premium Package who was great and I would feel so lucky to have a coach like him at home! We also got to know Luke and Jonny and Callum quite well and they are all amazing too. The bike team are so friendly and helpful, Mack is a firm favourite with my son and he went above and beyond to make his biking experiences even better!! The water skiing team are all awesome too! Each and every one of them are superb technicians whilst making it incredibly fun! Dominique did our transfer from Split to the Resort and she was so welcoming for that as well as being a brilliant water ski instructor and all round lovely person! The pool staff were very friendly and chatty. Perhaps a few more sun beds around the smaller pool would be good as the first week they seemed extra popular! I still managed to find one everyday. I love the fact you take action shots of all the activities throughout the holiday and we found it so difficult to choose our 10 favourite! These will be a constant reminder along with our special memories of a truly fantastic holiday. Lastly and by no means least, the kids club staff. They are simply outstanding. Special mention to Dionne in particular who works so hard but has a constant smile on her face! My son had Dionne both weeks we were there which he was very pleased about. All the team are great but she stands out as a team leader. Secondly, Liv A was amazing! Incredibly fun, positive, hard working, my son loved her! I wish we could guarantee a carbon copy of the holiday next year and we would be back in a flash!!! Whichever resort we end up going to it will definitely be a Nielson holiday!

Buca is an exceptional resort with a huge range of activities to choose from from all watersports ( sailing, paddle boarding, canoeing windsurfing and water skiing) cycling ( road, MTB and electric bikes) tennis, pickle ball and loads of fitness classes such as spin, body pump, aqua aerobics , Pilates, yoga and stretch and relax.
All the instructors are knowledgeable enthusiastic and incredibly motivating. There is also an excellent spa and a beautiful glass sided swimming pool.
As Buca has around 50 rooms and is adult only it has a boutique vibe ensuring a relaxed and peaceful holiday.
The staff are fabulous and go out of their way to make the holiday special. Most of the hotel staff are there year on year and meet you like old friends. It’s very special and no wonder there are so many returning guests.
Free wine tasting, cocktail of the day and fresh fruit are bought round daily to the pool side sun beds which makes you feel really pampered. The dining room has a relaxed pleasant feel with proper linen table cloths and napkins at dinner ! Definitely not a cafeteria feel as some hotels but a real restaurant. This year the majority of meals were buffet style and the food on offer had an excellent variety and was of a high standard. Delicious home made ice team and glorious cakes.
We have been three times and will definitely be going again next year if we can get in !!
