Kids' clubs for kids
On a Neilson family activity holiday, you can spend time doing what you love while your family discovers their new favourite activities. Children aged two to 17 can try new sports, from kayaking to sailing, while making new friends and building confidence.
With up to 60 hours of free childcare included per week, we've got something up our sleeves for tots, teens and everyone in between.
For babies, we’ve got our Starfish crèche and water sports mad kids can join our Hot Shots club, both of which are available for a supplement.

Where can you go for a family activity holiday in Europe?
We have family-friendly holidays across Greece, Croatia, Sicily, Sardinia and Mauritius that are perfect for you.
In Greece, the pick of the bunch is Levante Beach Club, boasting 6 tennis courts and a large shared paddling pool for your little ones to splash around in. For kids that love to spend time in the sea, Alana Beach Club is a good option with glistening waters and plenty of water sports options. If short transfers and sandcastles are what you’re looking for, then Messini is the place for you. In just 20 minutes, the kids can be on the long sandy beach with bucket and spade in hand, asking you to judge their latest grand design.
Still not tempting you? Then why not consider a stay in Sardinia or Sicily at Baia dei Mori or Neilson x Mangia Torre del Barone Resort where you and your kids can indulge in all the pizza and pasta you can get your hands on.
Activities for your family beach holiday
Our family beach holidays are jam-packed with activities for you and your family to enjoy. Spend your days sailing, water skiing, wakeboarding or swimming in beautiful oceans. If you’d rather stay on dry land, our tennis courts and climbing walls will let you get the most out of your holiday. Children aged 14 and up can also join in with the adult teaching sessions in windsurfing, dinghy sailing, tennis and fitness, so you can earn that suntan as a family.
As well as the wide range of inclusive activities, we also offer additional options that can be booked for a small supplement. Take a leap with something you’ve never done before, like kitesurfing or rock climbing, to make it a holiday you’ll never forget.
A caring team
We understand letting go for the first time during a family activity holiday can be hard. However, our team will make sure your tots, toddlers and teens are living their best life, keeping their days full of activities and entertainment. With early years leaders, children's activity leaders, teen activity leaders and qualified instructors on hand, you can have some fun yourself - or pop in and say hi whenever you fancy it! Our activity holidays are designed to be stress-free for all families, especially young families.
The activities we offer in our kids' clubs are full of fun and adventure, with health and well-being at the heart of what we do. Groups, new environments and exciting activities can sometimes be overwhelming for children with additional needs, even if they thrive in mainstream education. When this is the case, they may benefit from our one-to-one care, which is designed to help you get the most from your family activity holiday.
Fuel up during your family beach holiday
Growing children burning loads of energy will result in big appetites during your family activity holiday. But they - and you - will love the food at our Beach Clubs. It’s nutritional, locally sourced and totally tasty. There are plenty of familiar favourites on the buffets as well as new flavours to try.
Children in Sea Urchins, Sea Badgers, Surfbusters, Stingrays, Sharksters and Hot Shots will be taken for lunch by the team (unless you prefer to sign them out) on 4 days each week. If you have any little ones in the Starfish crèche, you'll need to collect them at 12.30pm, and they can be dropped off again at 2.30pm. We'll keep the tummy rumbles at bay with high tea at 5pm for the under-5s.
Relaxed evenings
Want to add a spot of carefree relaxation to your family activity holiday? Take time to enjoy a sunset stroll, eat dinner with friends or head out for cocktails - we’ll take care of the rest. Our kids' clubs run through to 11pm on some evenings, with activities in the clubhouse for the older kids or sleep club and a movie for the little ones.
More evening care is available if needed, it’s generally included for the older ones or is in a paid sleep club for the little ones (£20 per 2-hour session). Please bring along pyjamas plus milk and a comforter if needed.
Family and interconnecting rooms
All Beach Clubs have interconnecting rooms (except our new clubs in Mauritius and Sicily) - 2 rooms with an internal door connecting them for more space, security and peace of mind when travelling with children during your family activity holiday.
Our family rooms tend to have all the beds in the same room, so you can keep an eye on the little ones at all times. Suites are also good for families looking for a little extra space and beds. Just let us know what you need when you book. Simple!
Cut down on the amount you need to bring with our baby booster (kettle, steriliser, microwave, changing mat, bouncer chair) and toddler packs (kettle, microwave, changing mat). Our well-stocked shops in your Beach Club also sell nappies, milk, formula milk, suntan lotion and various other goods for children.
What to bring on your family activity holiday?
All children in our clubs (with the exception of TAG) get a rash vest. Younger children (up to Stingrays age) also get a sun hat and drawstring bag in their club colours.
We have lots of baby baths and cots that can be put in your room (on request), as well as pushchairs (subject to availability). You'll also find toys and games galore in the club rooms. Our Beach Clubs have an on-site shop and nearby stores where you can stock up on baby wipes, nappies, formula and other useful baby bits.
